Marc Chagall and the Time of Vision. From European Expressionism to Contemporary Painting

The ARCA Exhibition Center in Vercelli, Italy, is currently hosting a major monographic exhibition dedicated to the world-renowned 20th-century modernist painter Marc Chagall. The temporary exhibition, titled "Marc Chagall and the Time of Vision. From European Expressionism to Contemporary Painting," opened on October 13, 2026, and runs through March 29, 2027.
🏛️ The Venue: Spazio ARCA
The exhibition is set within an architectural marvel. ARCA is an ultra-modern glass and steel structure designed by architect Ferdinando Fagnola, built directly into the central nave of the historic, medieval Church of San Marco. Visitors can view original 15th-century frescoes and soaring Gothic vaults through the exhibition center's transparent crystal structure, bridging ancient history and contemporary art.
